Design, analyze, test, and evaluate alternate heating and cooling concepts such as electrification and solar energy for heat pump applications in home heating and cooling.
Continually develops and tests new systems for integration into next generation product improvements
Work with external companies to design, fabricate, test, and certify the necessary electronic components.
Ensure compliance with various safety and industrial standards for burners and related product components.
Collaborate with team members, agencies, and various research institute teams for new designs and scientific concepts.
Conduct heat transfer analysis for various components to optimize the performance through design optimization using numerical (CFD) and experimental methods.
Must Have the following experience:
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Combustion and heat transfer with the following skills.
Heat transfer and combustion theory
CFD tools: StarCCM+ or similar
MATLAB
LabVIEW
Data Analysis
Understanding of ANSI and ASME standardsFour (4) years’ experience working within Combustion and Heat transfer environment. Solid understanding of ANSI Z21standards
